The Training and Behaviour Centre founded in 1979 by Dr Roger Mugford, the internationally renowned animal psychologist has become the UK's leading centre for the treatment of behaviour problems in companion animals. We help over 1500 pets and owners every year!
The centre is based in Chertsey on a 100 acre working farm located in the beautiful English Surrey countryside. It's home to a herd of pedigree South Devon cattle, our hand reared 'dog savvy' sheep, horses and the ever popular llamas.
Our aim here at the Centre is to improve the understanding and enhance the welfare of all animals, be they domestic pets, livestock or wild species. This may involve assessing and advising on behaviour or welfare in legal cases, environmental enrichment for farm and captive animals or through work with the media. However the majority of our day-to-day work involves helping people enjoy the company of their pets through Training Classes and Behaviour Consultations.
